I had such a fun time photographing Halie for her senior session. She was hilarious with her “cool” poses she came up with in between snapshots. She will playing basketball next year in college, and she is really excited about it. Congratulations Halie on this milestone in your life. I wish you nothing but success in your future.
This high school senior happens to be part of my family. You have probably seen her model for me in the past. Click here to see one of her past sessions. Well, she is now graduating from high school, and I am so proud of her. We had so much fun laughing throughout this session, and the light was amazing! These are a few of my favorites from her session.

I was very reluctant to switch to the new timeline on Facebook. However, they forced us all on the 30th to change our pages. So, I created a timeline cover that I can deal with for now. Check it out, and let me know what you think. Are you liking the new timeline?
I chose my scale this week for the theme my imperfection. I am a person whose weight always changes, but I don’t obsess over it because it is my imperfection. I feel fabulous no matter what the scale says. To see the rest of the people participating in the My Four Hens Project 52, check out our Flickr stream.
If you are currently ending your junior year in high school and will be a senior in 2013, this post is for you!! Click the link below to apply to be a senior rep! Remember, send me a photo! Senior Rep Application
The theme for this week for Project 52 was inspiration. I am inspired by many things, but today I was inspired by nature. The left corner is water from a fountain shooting water. I thought about removing it in post processing, but I kept it instead. I don’t usually photograph nature. This is the first time I have tried a shot like this. Though it is not perfect, I like it! This project is already pushing me creatively. I am loving it.

I Heart Faces is a photography community that has a SOOC (straight out of camera) image each Friday submitted that photographers can use for editing purposes. It is always good to try different editing styles and expand your skills. This photo was submitted by Angie Arthur, but I had fun playing with it. Here is my take on it. I posted my before and after images. I did a few local adjustments in Adobe Lightroom. I then exported the image to Photoshop CS5 and created a hue/saturation layer to make the grass greener. I also applied a hue/saturation layer to give the red a pop on the wagon and bow. After that, I ran an action from Paint the Moon called Simply Charming. I adjusted the action to my liking. I sharpened for the web and voila! Let me know how you like my edit.
I will be taking session through the beginning of November. After that, I will be taking a break through the holidays. If you would like to book a session for the Fall or during the Spring, book now. Reserve your Spring dates in advance because it gets super busy. Payment arrangements can be made.
If you are a senior this year, graduating in 2012, I have some new ideas I want to try. You must live in Arlington, Fort Worth, or the Mansfield area. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
