I am behind on my project 52! I am not surprised, but I am doing much better than my previous attempt at this. I have been sick and traveling, so I wasn’t able to complete my themes. This week’s theme was blue. My son has a blue Toy Story backpack that he loves. He uses it every single day. He calls it his blue backpack.
This past week our theme was a wild card. We could choose anything, so I stuck with something valentine-related. I almost didn’t take a picture this week because I have been so sick, so this was a quick shot.

This week’s theme from the project 52 is emotion. I chose to take a picture of my son and my nephew because they are full of emotion I could barely keep them still for a few minutes to snap this photo.
This week’s theme for My Four Hens Project 52 was simplicity. What could be more simpler than the nature that surrounds us each day? It can be so simple that we don’t acknowledge its beauty.
I chose my scale this week for the theme my imperfection. I am a person whose weight always changes, but I don’t obsess over it because it is my imperfection. The theme for this week for Project 52 was inspiration. I am inspired by many things, but today I was inspired by nature. The left corner is water from a fountain shooting water. I thought about removing it in post processing, but I kept it instead. I don’t usually photograph nature. This is the first time I have tried a shot like this. Though it is not perfect, I like it! This project is already pushing me creatively. I am loving it.
This week’s theme for Project 52 is life. This was a hard one for me because there are so many important things that encompass my life. I then thought about a person who I helped to give life…my son Dillon. He has been one of my greatest blessings. He looks so peaceful sleeping.
After much consideration, I decided to participate in a project 52 this year. It will help to push me creatively. Every week for an entire year, a theme is provided. You take a picture that is related to that theme or any picture you want. This week’s theme is a resolution. One of my resolutions this year is to manage my time better.
